What a great idea for an outing with friends. With a whisper boat through the Utrecht canals. And that on the last real summer day! Very cooperative and enthusiastic reception. Everything has been thought of. Small snack, water, routes and inspirational questions for the road. We were with 7 friends. Enough space. What a party!
We had a super fun afternoon on the Utrecht canals! We were warmly received and received a clear explanation. The boat is easy to drive, well maintained, you sit comfortably on it and it was provided with a nice drink, nuts and talking games. Very well organized and definitely recommended!

Best boat trip you can find in Utrecht!We booked a boat ride with de Kleine Kapitein for 4 persons.Because of the electric motor. The boat ride was very smooth and silent. Super easy to navigate.Enough space and soft cushions.Great experience, Siebe contacted us before the ride. He wrote a personal message. Today was a wonderful day of sailing. We were well received with a clear explanation by Sten and it is a well-maintained sloop. In the boat we could scan a code so we could see different routes, this was super useful. We would definitely book it again and recommend it to other people!

Last week the four of us rented a beautiful, clean, comfortable and electric sloop from De Kleine Kapitein in Utrecht.The boys have done a good job and offer professional and personal service before and after renting the sloop at the quay. The sloop is very easy to steer and, in addition to the nice chat cards (English and Dutch), umbrellas and any snacks, there are sailing routes available in the boat.The communication afterwards after some miscommunication was very professional via email, which was answered quickly.In short, great!
Upon arrival, we were kindly welcomed by the staff who then provided clear explanations about the boat and the possible routes.The boat was clean, provided with a basket of drinks and some snacks, and umbrellas were also provided. All in all a very pleasant and complete experience.

We had a super experience! The whisper sloop from De Kleine Kapitein is affordable, clean, neat and electric. They have thought of everything. Yesterday the four of us (former colleagues and friends) took a wonderful 2-hour boat trip in the beautiful sloop of De Kleine Kapitein. Beautiful route over the canals and through the city center and chatting with each other and skipper Siebe. It was all very pleasant and super organized with the beautiful picnic basket and the opportunity to take extra drinks and food with you on the boat. Top address for renting a sloop!
The boat was very comfortable, clean and easy to navigate, and Siebe told us everything we needed to know in a very friendly and laid back manner! Perfect way to spend a couple of hours exploring the canals of the inner city.

The six of us (grandfather and grandmother with 4 grandchildren/teenagers) had an unforgettable afternoon in a sloop from De Kleine Kapitein. After a friendly welcome and explanation, we stepped into a clean sloop with a large filled picnic basket on board. Even umbrellas were under the sofa. A beautiful 2-hour trip through the Singel and canals.Perfectly arranged by the little captains. Definitely recommended. For a reasonable price. Top.

Had a wonderful evening in the little captain's boat. The boat was spacious enough for the 6 of us and the Utrecht canals are an oasis of peace compared to Amsterdam. Thanks to Sten for the explanation and patience because we got into the boat almost an hour later than planned.

Definitely a big recommendation for anyone that visits here.The staff is super friendly and try to help you facilitate this experience with their kindness and helpful information about the different routes you can take.The boat is nice and spacious, we went with 3 people and had a lot of space. It sails at a relaxing pace and feels very easy to control. The explanation was given in a short amount of time and was very elaborative.On top of this, this is the cheapest option in Utrecht. No money will be asked when you bring your own snacks along.Overall great experience wouldn’t have wished for anything else.

Recommended! Nice, quiet whisper boat, clean and well maintained for a very reasonable price. Perfect if you want to rent a boat in Utrecht with a smaller group (up to a maximum of 8 people). The picnic basket filled with some glasses, lemonade, something to nibble on and a game is a nice extra. There is a fleece blanket on board for those who get chilly in the evenings. Friendly service when mooring and unmooring by Sten and Siebe.Small tip: perhaps put a slightly longer line on board so that you can moor for a short break even in places where the bollard is a little further away (or in our case we wanted to take shelter from a shower under a bridge).
Booked a boat with Siebe and Sten at relatively short notice. After a phone call we were able to 'pick him up' half an hour later than indicated. A very neat and quiet boat, big enough for 8 people, because we were with a large group and our work stuff, they put drinks and something to nibble at the bottom so that we could store our stuff ourselves. We had a wonderful time sailing through the canals. Good price for what you get, and the gentlemen are very friendly. We will definitely come back next time.
